How to start Process for using Laserfiche for HR records

Hello all,

 

I am at the beginning stages of trying to utilize Laserfiche for our City's HR records. I would like to use Laserfiche to the fullest so that the process of hiring an employee is more efficient.  I have looked at the videos, but need more guidance on where to start. Any advice is highly welcomed.

You may find the following examples of how other organizations use Laserfiche within the HR department useful:

 

In addition, you can take a look at some human resources related process templates in the Business Process Library. Two of these templates that might be relevant to you include Job Application and New Hire Onboarding. More information on accessing the Business Process Library can be found in this section of the product documentation.

Lastly, you can take a look at some of our getting started guides to help you get started with Laserfiche Forms and Workflow.

Hi Omega,

 

My advice is try and work out what you want from start to finish, and then put the pieces together, test it and then fix it and test it again. Laserfiche is flexible to how you want to achieve something.

 

If it was me I would look at start with forms and finishing with workflow, for forms you need to consider your stakeholders, methods of communication, who does what at what step etc and for workflow I would consider folder structure and security.
