Impossible to open Team Task on App using iOS

It is impossible to get into any task that is under team tasks if your using iOS and the LF App starting today.

Once the task is assigned to you, each time you try to open by touching the task, it just minimizes the app to the background and returns to the desktop.

If you return to the app again, and touch the task, again it minimizes to the background.

I don't know any way to get around this.

The version of the app is 2020.1.17.234541

The iOS version on my test device is 13.3 but it appears it happens on any iOS device/version so far.

Is there an approval process from Apple or Google, or will it be available as soon as released?

Hi Chad, yes, there is an approval process before the app can appear in a store. we are actively working on a hotfix.

Hi Hui, in my opinion the latest release of the app should be pulled from the store or "updated" to the previous one, we have now basically done the work for Laserfiche for our site by pulling the faulty store app from our devices and replacing it by the December 2019 version that luckily was still available as an APK from the LaserFiche portal (or is that by design while you are waiting to see if there are any issues with a new release via the store), unlikely we will be re-enabling the automatic update via the store anytime soon, can I suggest you setup a location in the Laserfiche portal where it is possible to see when new versions are released and the ability to download previous versions and version sub-release, what is pushed by the appstore clearly isn't what can be downloaded from this link https://support.laserfiche.com/download/4121/laserfiche-10-4-2-android-app-apk-file

Hi there, really appreciate your feedback. we are actively testing the fixed version as we speak, and targeting the end of today to either release the newly fixed version or replace with the previous version in the store. Please note that either approach would require some lead time for store approvals.

A quick update, the new version for iOS and Android was submitted for store approval last night. The Window version targets by the end of the day.

Well iOS is impossible to do anything now because this update disabled the Sign In Button.

I open the app fresh, I press down on the sign in button until it turns Grey in color indicating it is depressed, then I release and it turns blue in color and does not execute anything. No error messages, nothing. It is basically a button with no function on it.

When is the target for the iOS and Andriod release. My iOS version is showing the same but yet the login button functionality has been removed

The Sign-In problem only happens on my phone. Not sure how to fix since I am closing and re-opening the app, so it should be fresh in memory with no corruption even if it is a glitch. I feel like iOS doesn't properly shut down application states, because I am often finding apps that I closed acting like they were still running in the background.

To close the LF app you double tap menu and swipe up right?

The Andriod release is working now.

We are getting reports that the Andriod apps are updating and preventing any access to team tasks in the same way

Hi Chad and Hui,

As you said Chad, we have exactly the same issues on the Android App.

When we want to open a task assigned to one user from a team, the app closed and restarted.

It is working fine for tablet that do not have the last version of the LF app.

It is a major concern for us.

We noticed they have a 10.4.2 mobile server now, so we tried it to see if maybe the latest app was only compatible with the latest server version.

Still no luck. Everyone has had to switch to using Chrome on their phone which has issues displaying the Action Pane.

We need some way to download the specific version we want to use, similar to how in Windows I can go to support.laserfiche.com and select the version that is most stable. The app seems to update far more often than the server, so it has more chances of having a problem.
