Just started happening this week with one user, no windows updates, no changes to her system.
When in Scanconnect trying to scan, it is browsing through the lists of scanners, we select the Fujitsu as the source as she always has, but now we receive "This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy." (See Pic).
Only way to get past this error is to go to Task Manager and kill Scanconnect. Once its forced close, we can relaunch and set the source to TWAIN and it sort of works. She is not able to select paper size and a few other options.
Troubleshooting:
I have tried repairing scanconnect.
I have tried removing and re-installing scanconnect
I have removed the scanner drivers and reinstalled them from the latest available online.
System has been rebooted several times over the troubleshooting steps.
If anyone has any ideas on where to go from here, it would be greatly appreciated.
