Feature Request: assign form access by team or role

It would be nice if we could assign form access rights to Teams or Team Roles. That way Teams could manage their own users and user role assignments without having to contact us to add another person either to the forms access rights directly or to an AD group that is already assigned to that form.

 

Case Use: We have a form that only our Investigations team has access to. But the members of the team change every year (they bid on job duties). Instead of reaching out to us to update the list they can update the Team members themselves and the access rights will update based on that.

Yes, please. It's so confusing having Teams set up in one section, then Groups set up in another - and this complicates things with licensing across Organisations.

 

As a developer, I would have thought that keeping everything in Forms team-based would have made a lot more sense - then configuration is in one place - D.R.Y.

 

I would remove the group option completely - what is the benefit of having both group-based and team-based access rights?
