What is the simplest way to export documents with their metadata to a file or disk for audits?

There is an option called Laserfiche Plus which allows you to create a USB drive version of Laserfiche which would act as Laserfiche on a external drive all be it Unchangeable, which i assume would be Ideal here, but i believe may be at an additional cost.
Other than that there is not a 'simplified' way to export Laserfiche Documents with their Metadata in tact other than Downloading the actual files, then downloading a report and compiling a Report with the relevant information as either a Table or a Excel file, with the column/metadata information on.
File>Download>Folder Contents (if a folder)
File>Download>Download Report (Selecting what is appropriate in the Metadata)
The other option which some sites now adopt, is to create an 'Auditor' user within the system, and give them restricted access to a folder or set of folders with the information/documents they require.
