Bring over choices from a radio button into another field instead of the assigned value

asked on January 14, 2020

On a Form, can you bring the choices from a radio button over instead of the assigned value? We are trying to autofill some forms by assigning variables/calculations to other field types, but it is pulling the assigned value instead of the choice. For example, if we put the Send to Supervisor variable as a calculation into a single Line field, it shows the value we have set (PENDERCOUNTY\dbeatty) instead of the choice (Dorothy Beatty). Is there another way to work around this?

We put the value so that it would send them an email based off of the user selected.  If there is a better way to resolve this, please feel free to add it!

Hey David, not sure if you are still active. I am trying to do exactly what Whitney did, but upon checking the provided link, it did not make any sense at all.

Is there a script to just say "Show choices"?

I am pretty sturdy with JS in adobe, but have fumbled with it in Laserfiche.

Any assistance would be greatly helpful!

Hi Matthew, I agree with you that the link did not answer the question in this post.
