Is there a way we can edit what data is available to us in the version history? Specifically, I am looking to see document types in the version history.
We use a forms process with workflow tie ins to process our editable (typically word) versions of documentations for approval. Upon approval, these are PDF'ed and workflow places them as the current versions for distribution to the company at large. Currently, unless you are an admin or involved in the approval process, only PDF's are accessible to the population at large. When documents need to be edited, those involved then request the editable version from document control, who then has to click through versions until it is found. If there is a way to customize the data available to show file extensions or full file names with extensions, this would simplify this process.
