Seamless sign-in to forms

asked on January 10, 2020

Is there a way to allow windows authentication to the forms page... right now users do not have to login into our web client... but having them have to sign into forms is an inconvenience. Isn't there a way to make login to forms through windows authentication and avoid the necessity of entering credentials. I thought this was possible.... Can someone provide instructions.

You could migrate to using Laserfiche Directory Server and then enable Single Sign On in your forms environment.

What would we be migrating from... asking what our current setup would be called. What's the difference and what does the migration entail? Is there a reason why our VAR would have setup us not as LDS? Just trying to figure it out. Thanks.

It really depends on the VAR.  It also depends on when your system was implemented as it wasnt always available.  Are you on RIO or Avante?  If you are on RIO already then it would involving getting SSL certs or all your appropriate server and configuring the system.  If you are on Avante it would involve you installing the LFDS and adding all of your users and groups there.  Then do the above steps as well.  I would very much ask your VAR to do this as there are quite a few steps/setup.
