Question

Unexpected end of file has occurred

asked on January 3, 2020

We received the message when going into QF. Does anyone know what this is for?

Pretty sure it means that the family of executables were previously closed in the wrong order, now it can not start them all up because they are already running. A re-boot to clear memory should fix it.

Thank you.

One more question. How can I re-boot the memory?

Re-boot the OS, that will clear all the apps out of running memory. Otherwise you must find and end each individual one

This message most likely indicates that Quick Fields is trying to open a session file that has been corrupted. Do you have a backup of the session you are trying to open, either as a previous version published to Quick Fields server or as a standalone .qfx file?
