Metadata Report Columns Need To Be Selected Every Time

In the Laserfiche Windows client 10.2.1 you can search by a template, go to download report, and the report will contain the columns that are displayed in the search. In newer version of the Windows client, you have to choose the columns to add to the report. Doing this for each search can be time consuming when performing many searches for different templates and downloading reports.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to download metadata reports without having to select the columns to be included every time a search and download report is performed?

Why was this option changed? Can option be added to the menu for an export displayed results with the template fields that are currently displayed selected. In our environment we use multiple templates for searching and the fields vary greatly across the templates.

My customer tells me this, and I immediately whip up an app using the SDK and save their selections in a DB or XML, and process in the background - via a Windows Service or Scheduled task, which then sends them an email with the report, because waiting HOURS in the UI when I need a 100,000+ entry report is exhausting, and blocks me from doing anything else. Even then, when it's done, it always gives me the path and the entry name in the report, even though I didn't select those. I'll gladly do it for you - cause I'll use it myself!

Thank you for the information. Perhaps a workflow could run the reports or our development team can configure a solution using the SDK.
