Submitter permissions to view a form that was previously submitted by them?

Just had a support call with a user who wants his submitters to be able to view a submitted form from the Monitor tab, but only for forms which that person submitted. When we click the "view" link, an overlay begins to load but immediately closes and the console shows a 403 error - which tells me it's a permissions issue. Going into the forms process, I see that user has a submitter role and the only other role possible to give is the Process Admin role. Users with the process admin role can see the form.

So my question is, does a user need to have process admin role to see any previously submitted form step, or is there a way to grant a user permission to view previous form steps that they submitted?

We got around the issue by emailing a copy of the form to the submitter but still curious if this is possible.

Without those higher level permissions, there is no way for the submitter to view the entire history of the instance, only the tasks they themselves completed.

Authenticated users should be able to view their submitted forms from Inbox > My Tasks > Completed Tasks.

The Monitoring page would include details for the entire instance, which is why it is limited to users with the System Admin, Process Admin, or Business Manager (if you have a more recent version) role.

Thanks Jason, we checked in there as well but as we saw the same behavior I didn't think to separate the concerns.

I got back on with the customer and we misunderstood the initial issue. The user is able to view the form he/she submitted, but not the review form that someone else submits - which we thought were one and the same at first.

So to ask another question - Is there a way to give the submitter permission to view the entire process that he or she initiated, without giving them process admin permissions? Or do they only have permission over the specific steps that he/she performed?
