Question

Weblink > Browse Page > Folders View: Specify the folders to be viewed

asked on December 18, 2019

Hi,

Does anyone know how to specify which folders should be viewed in the Weblink Browse Page?

I have one folder that is view-able. Recently a new folder has been created. The new folder has the same access/permission configurations as the old folder, however, it does not appear in the folder view.

Sincerely,

Wissam

Hi Erik,

I fixed it. I had to give read/browse permission to the folder at Level 2, with scope as (This entry only). Thanks.

By default the browse button views the root of the repository.

  • Are both folders in root?
  • Are you certain the permissions are the same?
  • Is the scope of the permissions the same?

Hi Erik,

It seems that Weblink is restricted to show only one folder that is positioned 3 levels below the root. The new folder is on the same level and it does have the same permission/scope as well.

  • Repository
    • Level 1
      • Level 2
        • Level 3 (1st Folder)
        • Level 3 (2nd Folder)

Thanks.
