Is there a way in LF Cloud to append list field values to either an External table (Entity) or using Workflow?

I would like to have a drop down list field in the repository for Customer Names and Project Numbers that get added/removed dynamically through my Business Process.  I know On-Prem has both of these capabilities but I haven't been able to locate them in Cloud.

Does anyone know if these features are present somewhere or if there's a work around?
