[LFF9306: InvalidTimeRange]

A user is getting the following error after submitting a form.

Errors encountered during forms submission:
Field Name: Start TIme, Position: 7, Error: This value does not fall within the specified time range. [LFF9306-InvalidTimeRange] [LFF9312-ErrorOccuredDuringFormsValidation]
You can click the back button on the browser to correct and resubmit the form. [LFF9320-FormsValidationAggregateException]

 

The version of forms is:

Laserfiche Forms Professional Version 10.3.1.635 

 

The field is set to restrict times from 7 AM to 5 PM. The time entered into the field is 12:30PM, and the field is not throwing the red error text saying the time ranges. This error occurs during an approval step, but it does not occur during the original submission.

Submitting with times like 11 AM works, but anything in 12 PM throws this error. Is there an error in this version of forms where it considers 12PM to be after 5PM? I can't think of any other reason why this error might be happening.

Is the backend validation level on the Forms settings dialog "validate all"? I can reproduce when the backend validation level is "validate all" and the time field is set to read-only. You can change the validation level to "validate user input" as workaround, we will fix this issue in next release.
