We have been experiencing the abnormal growth of the laserfiche database, we want to know if it is normal or what steps to follow to make a debug / configuration to avoid exponential growth.

Question
LFForms database size
Replies
What version of Forms are you running, and do you have any forms that include file uploads?
Forms 10.4 added data maintenance settings to help clear out old data and keep size down, and file uploads are stored directly in the database so they can add up very quickly.
Jason, 10.3 version and Non, we don't have file upload forms. Do you have any docs/links about data maintenance settings? Thanks a lot.
There's a brief mention of it in the change logs for 10.4

Jason, my mistake, we have LF 10.4.2. and actually we need a script to depurate LFForms database, because I understand LF keeps documents in both, database and repository. If you know or have a script, we appreciatte a lot.
Regards.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by depurate. Have you identified any specific impurities in the database?
Laserfiche does not keep documents in the repository database, however, it does maintain file uploads in the LF Forms database. The new data maintenance settings can be used to change how long those uploads are stored.
Here is a link to the online documentation for the data maintenance options in Forms 10.4.
