Laserfiche Forms DELEGATION

asked on November 20, 2019 Show version history

Hi there,

Any road map on delegation? every customer is asking for this feature~~

i..e when user is on leave, they may delegate his task to a appointed user etc.

except putting a task in the group, what can be done?

Many Thanks,

Jason

In Forms, you are able to assign a timer event to a Task, if the user has not completed their task you can interrupt the current task and reassign and then attach an arrow to the new User task back into the process, this could assign the task back to the group/Manager.

The Attached example waits for 3 days, from when the task is assigned to the first user, if the user has not action-ed their task it will be automatically assigned to the User task above.

In order to access this you need to right click the user task and select attach timer event, then drag an arrow or user task from this, and carry on the process diagram from there.

You can accomplish this 2 ways outside of the timer event that Anthony mentions above. The first is that someone with the ability to look at Monitor can reassign tasks to other licensed users. The second is to use teams. By using teams you can assign a role of Manager to a user and based on the visibility setting for the team, members of the team can see tasks for all members of the team. Managers can also reassign tasks for their teams. See details here.

Hi all,

Thanks, and seems putting the task in groups or use team manager to reassign is the way out.

hope in the future there would be a generic delegate function.

so when user is on leave, he can config he task delegate to someone else.

Thanks anyway.
