LFDS SAML configuration with certificates

Hello,

 

I am working on configuring SAML in LFDS. We were going through the white paper and we noticed that certificates were not mentioned. Does Laserfiche support/include adding certificates when generating SP metadata? If so, please let me know if there are any specific requirements for adding the certificates to the metadata.

Hi Drew,

We do not currently. We support importing certificates with the metadata supplied by the SAML provider but LFDS does not generate certificates for its metadata. The workaround would be to generate the certificate you want to use, then import it manually into LFDS and your SAML provider. We're looking to add the functionality you want in a future release.
