Weblink-Search returns just Shortcuts no Context Hits showing

Hello,

We have a customer who is doing a text search in Weblink 10.1 and the results are showing just the Shortcuts and not displaying any text hits.

They have Context Hits set to show in the WL Designer.

Is it by design, if it is a Shortcut, it will not show the Context Hits from the text.

I have confirmed that the shortcuts are to documents that have pages generated and OCR done.

I tested this on my system and same results and I changed the search option to resolve Shortcuts and this did not resolve the shortcut or show the text hit.

Shortcuts don't have text, so it's a little surprising that you have any in your search results. Do you have the "resolve shortcuts" option turned on? Have you checked the behavior in the web client or the Windows client?

Hello Brian,

Thanks for the input.

I have tested the option to "Resolve Shortcuts" in Weblink and reloaded, searched and the Shortcut does not display context hits.

I made the same change in the Web Client, reloaded and when I search for the same word and tab to the same shortcut, I get the context hits.
