Hi all,
Using Windows Client, one of my users can't see the metadata. The icons are disabled.
Where can I check if this user have the rights to see the metadata?

Hi Olivier,
Can you try resetting the panes? View>Panes>Restore Default Layout (or whatever that is in French!)
Hi Chris Douglas, Thanks for your help.
Now I get the metadata on the right side but the icons are still disabled.
Can you try logging in as the Admin user and seeing if the issue changes?
This "bug" is only for 1 user. Others have the icons.
Have you tried having that user log in from another workstation?
Have you tried having the user log out and then reset all the users attributes through the LF Admin Console?
Hi Bert,
Yes, I tried to log from another workstation for this user and I get the same result.
About the attributes, the user created a lot of filters. I don't want to erase all he did. But you right, this is about one of the attributes but wich one?
Hi Olivier,
I'm going to guess this is the settings lock down for Document Viewer Panes (DocViewPanes)
The document viewer settings lockdown category prevents affected users from opening, closing, or rearranging the panes in the Laserfiche Windows client's document viewer. (This setting has no effect on the web client.)
Users will be locked to their current document viewer pane layout. They can reset their panes to return to the default layout, but they will not be able to modify them further after that point.
Look here for more information:-
Hi Chris Douglas,
Can you make a printscreen for this settings in the attribute?
I don't find anything about "DocViewPanes" or "Document Viewer" in the attribute.
Did you look in the Everyone Group attributes?
Hi Bert,
Thanks for the tip. It was the user's attribute. I deleted all the attribute of this user and now it's ok.
Thanks all.
