Quickfields and Import Agent functionality in a Mac Environment for LF Cloud User

Hello,

 

We have a customer who has migrated to LF Cloud.  They are looking to add Import Agent and QF to be used with their Cloud Repository.

They are currently using Mac Laptops (not sure of the make/model).

Are we able to install and configure Import Agent and QF to work on a Mac Machine with LF Cloud?

Hi Jeff,

MacOS is not a supported operating system for Import Agent or Quick Fields.

A suggestion: does this customer have any Windows Server instances where they could run Import Agent and/or Quick Fields Agent?

If so, end users on Macs could drop documents in a network file share Import Agent monitors for upload to Laserfiche Cloud. Quick Fields Agent sessions could monitor a "Processing Queue" folder in the Laserfiche Cloud repository and run without end users needing to actively work within the QF interface.

Thank you for your reply.

 

Customer was moving away from an older Windows Server to pure cloud hosting and using Mac's in their Office.

 

I will check on the Windows Server.
