Office Online/Document Preview

Just to clarify the Preview option/ viewing office documents in WebAccess.

1.  This only works with Word documents and Excel files?

2.  If we preview and email message, it shows the text/subject/To/From but it doesnt seem to show if there is an attachment.  Is that correct?

Is anyone able to confirm if you are able to see if there is an attachment option/view when looking at an email using the preview?

We through that the Office server allowed the viewing of emails but turns out it does not.  Now we are unsure of the attachment.

The Office Online integration supports Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. 

 

The email preview doesn't show the attachments in the text preview, but you can create document relationships between the email and attachments, then open the attachments from the links in the details pane. You can do this by changing the attachment option in the Email tab in the Import dialog.
