WebClient Default Repository

asked on October 28, 2019

Is there some type of landing page where users can choose which repository they want to login with?  We have multiple repositories for different groups, each group can only login to their respective repository.

I only see the option to set a default on one of the repositories setup in WebAccess.

There are a few ways to handle this. As Steve says, you can have the repository name specified in a url, that is either bookmarked or published somewhere. The login page (login.aspx) has a repository picker, though there are scenarios where that won't work (LFDS single sign-on). It is a pain point that has come up, so we are exploring other solutions to the problem.

No, I was speaking to Laserfiche about this yesterday. If found that if you even though there well multiple repositories and the one the user wants is not the default, it would direct them to one they do have access to. You could also bookmark the Url for their repository.

Hi, is there a solution to this in web client version 11?  I am still facing a similar issue on single sign-on with multiple repositories.  Even if you provide separate links for different repositories, when you sign out from a repository and if you click on the login from the sign-out page, it directs you back to the default repository instead of redirecting to the last login repository.
