The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send. and Can't connect securely to this page

I have several end users that just let me know that they are getting one or the other Laserfiche Scanning Error:

 

OR

Would the TLS security setting cause the first error too?  Trying to see if I'm dealing with 2 separate issues or 1.

The first one sounds like it could be TLS-related also.

That "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send." error has turned out to be TLS-related every time I've seen it.
