Laserfiche 5 Viewer Version 5.04.0342 does not see a database

We have an old CD that contains an export of what we believe is a Laserfiche Plus volume export. The export contains a Laserfiche Viewer Version 5.04.0342 application, but it does not see a "database" from it's own export. Since the Laserfiche Viewer is version 5.04.0342 would we be able to use a Laserfiche 5 volume converter to update the volume, so that we can attach the volumes to a newer version of Laserfiche repository?

I was able to use the Laserfiche 5 Volume converter to convert the volumes, and then attach them to the client's 10.4.1 repository. (I just wish that the Laserfiche 10.4.1 Server still included the Laserfiche 5 Volume Converter in the Server Utilities; I had to install Laserfiche Server 9 on the client's PC in order to get the Laserfiche 5 volume converter)
