Question

Question

2 lookups on the same field

asked on October 1, 2019

Hi,

I have created a form to edit vehicle information.

When a user selects a Vehicle Registration number, all the fields on the form is populated from a specific table to give the current data in the table.

The issue that I am facing is that there are some of the fields that need to be populated by a second lookup rule once the original populated value from the 1st lookup rule is deleted from the field.

Is this possible and perhaps an idea on how to do it?

Thank you so much.

Can you post some screenshots showing what it is you're attempting to do?

Thank You so much for the replies.

Here is the form.

It is populated first by the below look up rule to give the current database values.

Then, when the user views that information and needs to change the information and choose a different route, the user needs to delete the information in the field and then the field must be populated with the specific values from the below lookup rule which gives him specific data to choose:

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks for the help.

Like Michael said, it would be easier to tell if we knew more about your process, but using a combination of hidden fields and javascript should make this run as you want it to.

Hi Roland,

Were you ever able to accomplish this?

Kind Regards,
