Question

forms and conditional statements

asked on September 20, 2019

I have a Process Diagram where I'm using an exclusive gateway to route a request from a Principals to an Exec Dir for approval.  There are 3 Exec Dir. 1 for each school level: Elementary (ES), Middle (MS) and High (HS).

I have used conditional routing many many times.  For the life of me I can't figure this out.   Everything is being routed to is ES...

This is the is ES conditional statement:

is MS conditional statement:

is HS conditional statement:

Just to be sure, what are the listed values for both stud_last_grade_attended AND stud_grade?

Is it possible that you have a hidden value saved for the other field which is being picked up by the OR statement?

Can you explain what exactly you are having an issue with?

Sure...  :)  After the principal approves the form it is then routed to the Elementary exclusive path even if the stud_grade or stud_last_grade_attended is 12.  ( /dataset/stud_grade ="12" or /dataset/stud_last_grade_attended ="12" )

I checked the variables on the form and the 12 is there.

That must be what's happening...  I forced 1 value and it worked.

I see now what's going on.  Thanks bunches!!
