Profile Creation Wizard and Can't Add Source Application

New install of Connector 10.3 on a Windows 10 device. When I try to create a new profile using the wizard I get to the Add Source Application screen where I'm supposed to drag the target to the application. When I drop it on any application nothing happens. I turned on tracing and it looks like it's enumerating windows.

I also fired up the LF Connector Test Utility. That works just fine. It detects window names and everything and I was able to successfully OCR extract text from a window in the app I want to use as my source.

Any ideas why the problems with the profile wizard? I've run things as admin and I've also made myself local admin with no luck.

Hi Nate,

I ran into a similar issue that I'm currently working with Laserfiche Support on to troubleshoot. Are you trying to use a Microsoft Surface, by any chance?

Yes. Surface 6 Pro as a matter of fact.

Yep, it seems to be an issue with Surfaces. I've been able to replicate it on a few different devices. I would reach out to your VAR or Solution Provider to open a case.

Running into this same issue with a Lenovo Thinkpad P52. Already opened a case with Laserfiche, they confirmed that they are working with their development team to find a solution.
