trim leading whitespace

Is there a way to manipulate, within workflow, data being pulled from an external database? I have an instance where a particular field is being fed data that sometimes has a leading whitespace in it.

Is it possible to clean this up on my end? I do not have DBM permissions for that source.

Yes, in the Token Editor, there is a Function called Trim that will remove leading and trailing white space.

Excuse the ignorance. How do I get to token editor in workflow designer?

Right Click on the Token, Token Editor appears in the dropdown

When you add the token, like

%(Token) somewhere, right-click the name.
