How to set up file retention policies in Laserfiche Repositories (Not Web Client)

I am finally pushing laserfiche out into our company and HR is wanting to run with it ASAP. The issue is some files need to be kept for so long then deleted, I have looked and I can not seem to find a way to enable the Retention Policy. 

 

Where can I find this?

In the Windows Client you'll need to select the Records menu and then choose View Record Properties.

I may be blind but I do not see a Records menu in 10.4.1 Laserfiche Repository for Windows. If you could, could you please tell me where I can find the Records menu, please.

I sadly seem to be missing this, is there a way to get this to appear?

You probably do not have permissions on the repository to manage records.

That is what I am worried about. I just recently took over for our previous LF Tech and I am finding my self not having permission for some things.

I am the admin, how would I go about adding that right?

I would recommend contacting your Laserfiche Solutions Provider and they can help you make sure you have the security access you need in the system.
