CPU : physical cores vs logical cores

We need to move laserfiche from a physical machine to VMware, we want to know if CPU logical cores and physical cores are the same.

Exemple :  could 32 physical cores be ran on 32 logical cores ?

For the purposes of satisfying the hardware requirements of Laserfiche Server, yes they are equivalent.
