Use of field variables in table column label

Hi All,

I'm trying to use a value from a hidden field to table column label (Year).

I've added the hidden field variable into the table field label but the value is not displaying.

The value in a hidden field is calculated using excel function (current year).

Any help will be much appreciated.

When you set the field rule to hide the field, make sure to set it to Save the data when the field is hidden. 

Have you tested the rule with the field showing? Does it work in that case?

Thanks for your response.

The hidden field is a single line field and is in the section with hidden class. I've tried with no hidden class and it still does not work.

The field value only appears in the column label if i submit the form.
