Question

Could not load file or assembly 'LaserficheImaging'

asked on August 26, 2019

We recently upgraded from Laserfiche 9.2 to 10.3. We now have a handful of End Users that get the described error when attempting to email pages or documents. See attached screenshots. I have verified that we have matched versions, in terms of the Laserfiche Client, and the Laserfiche Application Server.  I have also attempted to recreate the issue on my machine, but it successfully attaches the document every time. I have searched extensively online for a solution, but no luck so far. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hello,

I recently ran into the same issue, this was resolved by installing the Visual C++ redistributable provided here, Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn.  The user previously only had the 2015 version.

We are experiencing the same error. When upgrading the clients to 11 we're having to run the Microsoft Uninstall Tool(https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d) to completely uninstall Laserfiche and reinstall version 11 to resolve. The issue is this needs to be deployed to 30+ workstations that all have that preexisting installation of 9.2 and we've been unable to come up with a solution to use that tool to completely remove 9.2 before pushing out 11.
