When saving a Laserfiche form to the repository as either a TIFF or a PDF, is there a way to have that file OCR'd when it's saved to the repository or do I have to create a Workflow to do that?

if it is a Tiff it does not OCR at the point of Entry, however you can OCR it to get a text layer at a later point.

However, if you are to use a PDF it is OCRed.

There was another post about this but I can't find it at the moment.

In short though, If you configure the Options of the account being used to save the repository to generate pages and generate text, then the text layer should be generated when the document is saved.

Log into the repository with the use account, go to Options > New Documents > Settings and make the changes there. then try to save the form and see what happens.
