Question

Non-LDAP Participant Users not showing up in Forms anywhere

asked on July 30, 2019 Show version history

We just installed a new license, which is also labeled Participant User, but is different than the classical participant users for Forms. It is a license that should grant both access to the repository and forms. I think it is called non-LDAP participant user.

I setup a test account, and I was able to grant the account access to the repository. But they are unable to find the account anywhere in Forms under either the Named User or Participant tab, I was expecting it to show under the Named User tab because that tab syncs with repository users.

The new Participant license only works through the Directory Server. If you're using Repository Authentication, they will not be available.

Oh they have directory server, this is where the licenses were installed. But the user does not show up in the Forms user list after setting them up in the repository and syncing Forms.

So Forms is using Directory Server Authentication?

It is just licensed by Directory Server, do you mean the Single Sign On feature?

According to Laserfiche the new "Participant User" has to use SSO.
