Restrict File Extension Entry into Laserfiche Web Client

Is there a way to restrict users to upload files with specific extensions to Web Client ?
i don't want from users to upload files with extensions like '.exe' to Web Client.

There currently isn't a solution for this, other than running searches by extension to find unwanted content. It's a good idea and it has come up before. I've filed a request for it.
