Question

Approval Form Terminated

asked on July 15, 2019

Hello All,

I am trying to figure out why a Form would Terminate on some instances.

Example, I have a Request Form that when it is finally approved it should email the submitter a copy and then save to the Repository.

I filled out a form and after it was approved, I was able to get a copy and saw it save to the Repo.

I have some other users that filled out the form and when it was approved it was Terminated.

Any help?

Thank you,

Manny

More information about the type of error would be needed to identify the issue. Go to the Monitoring page, select the terminated instance, and click the "clipboard" icon to get the error details.

Hi Jason,

This is what I found.

So based on that, it looks like your conditions are not being evaluated how you expected. First, I would always set a default path so you always have somewhere to go. Second, I would check the button values in the approval tasks to make sure they actually match up with the values in the condition.

I just set it to Default to the Approved.

I will wait and see what happens.

Thank you,

I did a test by putting together the same form but without all the steps.

I bypassed a few Approvals and when I approve it, it still gets suspended.

Thank you,

Notice that this is a totally different error message. This message is saying there is something wrong with the email task.

Yeah, I saw that.

I tried recreating the issue but I think by adding the Default Outflow, it might have fixed it.

I am going to try, but the previous tasks that were Terminated, I couldn't get them to work.

Even the ones that say suspended, don't work either.

Thank you for your help.
