I have a Client that recently purchased the Education Subscription Licenses. They are currently on Laserfiche Avante but have the LFDS 10.4 installed. Below is their current set-up:
- Their users use Laserfiche Accounts to login. The Laserfiche Accounts are not linked to Windows Accounts.
- Their Forms User Authentication is configured for Laserfiche Server.
- They also have Forms Participant Licenses (but these are not LDAP Users, just 'simple accounts').
- The Forms have Teams.
Client added a few Windows accounts in LFDS and assigned them the Education Subscription license. These users are able to login to the Client after being added there. But for these users to able to access Forms, the Forms User Authentication has to be switched from Laserfiche Server to LFDS.
How do we do that taking into consideration the:
- Laserfiche Users that have assigned tasks in Forms.
- The Participant Licensed users who are neither Laserfiche user nor LDAP accounts.
It seems that the Laserfiche Account Migration utility is no more at this moment.
What would be the best way to proceed to start utilizing the Education Subscription Licenses? Is there a detailed white paper for this migration?
