Question

Question

Do you need the DocuSign license to receive documents from DS with the web import service?

asked on June 11, 2019

I'm looking at setting up Docusign, I have the demo account already with DS and I'm working on my dev server. I have setup almost everything. I have 2 questions.

1. Do you need the DocuSign/Laserfiche license to receive documents from DS with the web import service?

2. Do you need to have your server externally available since the DS connect settings are asking for a server to publish too?

I will either create my own integration with API's or use CDI's intergration but I'm not clear on these 2 questions. Thank you in advance.

Assuming I'm understanding your questions correctly:

1. Your Laserfiche server license does need to have the DocuSign feature in order for the DocuSign portion of Web Import Services to push documents to it.

2. Yes, the Web Import Services machine will need to be externally available for DocuSign Connect to be able to push to it.  The Laserfiche server does not need to be externally available, though Web Import Services will need to be able to talk to it.
