Personal stamp defaulting to private

Hello,

We are working with a client that has one user, where a personal stamp is defaulting to private.
In order for others to view the applied stamp, the user (that applied the stamp) has to right click the stamp, click metadata and uncheck "private."

I am unable to find any setting in tools > options or attribute related to this.
Is there a setting somewhere that I'm not seeing?
Perhaps a registry key?

Hi Aharon,

 

   Unless I'm mistaken, you can't change it from a personal to a public or public to personal after it has been created. You need to do that during the creation process. Has your customer tried recreating the stamp?

The annotation default for None/Private/Protected is a user attribute for all annotations for that specific user, regardless of annotation type or whether it is personal vs. public.

An administrator can add [Settings]DefaultAnnotationState  with a value of 2 to the everyone group or the specific users, as described here:
