Configure LF server in AWS server

We have a RIO customer who is looking to move from a physical server where LF is hosted to a AWS(Amazon Web Services) Server. From what I've seen online this appears to be configured the same way as hosting LF in a VM. Any other special configs I'm missing for this setup?

Only difference from VMWare that I have found is that you must use an elastic IP in order to receive a static MAC address on the internal virtual network card.

Their CPU explanations can be a bit confusing too, essentially every 2 cores is very similar to a single Intel core with hyper-threading enabled.
