changing field to currency

Is there a way to format a number field to a currency field so i don't have to change my whole form? 

I already have css scripting for Half/TwoCol on the advanced features.

Do you want the $ too, or just the decimals?

Both, i have it as number with two decimals right now.

I am trying not to have to reformat the form to replace my fields, but i may have to.

That is what I would do honestly. Adding the $ is possible with Javascript, but I wouldn't go with a potentially messy workaround when you have built-in options.
