Is there a way for me to ALWAYS generate pages when importing a word or excel document?

Right now I would have to manually, on each document, select the document and then select generate pages to make the page viewable in the document viewer. Is there a way to tell Laserfiche to ALWAYS generate pages UPON IMPORT of the document so we don't have to go back and do it every time to every document? Hoping there is and I just haven't figure it out yet! :-) Trying to do this in the actual repository, not in Web Access.

Hi Robyn,

 

You can do so by enabling the option in Client.

Tools --> Options...

Thank you for replying, however, those settings I already have and are for PDF’s. I am trying to set the default for office documents (word/excel) to always have electronic pages generated upon import so that they are viewable in the document previewer. Thanks again.

I am also trying to get pages to automatically generate in the windows client. (for MS office electronic documents). these settings in the client do not work. Pages are not generated when a new MS word document is dragged into the windows client.  I also want pages to be generated on new document versions. is this possible?  (this is Laserfiche 11)
