Connector importing document as thumbnails

The Connector profile that I am working on is to import documents. The information to fill the metadata fields on the form is collected from a third party program (BS&A).

Prior testing the profile worked filling in the metadata and importing the document into Laserfiche repository.

Recent testing the document being imported is being saved as thumbnails.

example:

The document is a two page PDF.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

If you are importing PDFs, try opening the PDF/electronic file pane to view it. PDFs will only display images if you've generated pages for them, and in that case they will display the extracted text as the thumbnail (which can sometimes show up like this depending on the PDF internals)

I have tried that and still only getting the thumbnails (shown in original post). If dropping (copy/paste) of the same pdf document, it is imported correctly into the repository.

Another documents (example .doc) are being imported correctly using the profile connector.
