If an email .msg file is stored in Laserfiche and you view it in the Windows Client, you only see an icon that indicates it is a message( ). Could you make a slightly different icon to display the fact that the email contains an attachment? Maybe the icon would have a paperclip, as well? How about a column to display this fact, like a column called "Attachment" with values Yes/No (Kind of like the Tags column)?

Feature Request: Email icon in the Laserfiche Windows Client to display an attachment

I understand the basic idea, but can you expand on the big picture a bit? What would users do with this information?
This might help users decide if they want to store the attachment separately or not. It has more to do with storage, and for searching. The client could also search for emails with attachments, maybe even by the name or text in the attachment. I know that you can auto-assign a relationship to the separated attachment, but what if a user doesn't want to have a detached copy of the attachment?
So the user would see how other users had stored emails in that folder and follow suit? I'd be concerned about the icon/column/whatever being a little too subtle for that.
The idea is to have an indicator at to whether the email contains an attachment, or not. Just like Outlook has an indicator column.
