Question

Why my data storage is still full if I'm deleting some files in Laserfiche?

asked on May 24, 2019

Hi all,

My data Storage have 216 Go and my Windows Laserfiche Folder "DEFAULT" use 158 Go.

We made a lot of test and created a lot of files (about 15000) so, under Laserfiche Client, I deleted and purged this files but my C:\ is still full. How can I purge my datastorage under Windows?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Hello,

There is an automated maintenance process Laserfiche runs to clear purged entries from the database and volumes to limit impact on system performance.

In the Administration Console, connect to your repository, then select Repository Options > Settings. On that page, there are start and end times for the "Maintenance Window"

It is during this window that purged entries are removed. If the window is too short, it may need to run more than once to clear up all the disk space.

If I have something like that in my configuration window. What can I modify?
