Question

Question

listening port

asked on May 23, 2019

we have a SSL url setup for laserfiche, works and workflow. I am having issues testing the forms url and the workflow url.  I saw a post that said I need to change the server settings listening port from 80 to 443. I made this change. When I saved the change a box showed up saying I need to restart the server. I did this and now the laserfiche service will not start. I can't find where I can reset the listening port pack to 80.

this is the error in event viewer:

The HTTP port is saved in the registry.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Laserfiche\Engine\8.0\HttpServ]
"Port"=dword:00000050

You only need to change that if you're going to be running HTTP on a port other than 80.

(Note that the value is represented in hex, which is why it's "50")
