How to check when the "Recycle Bin" was enabled

Hi All,

 

I know that our Recycle Bin was not enable at the beginning - during installation and configuration.

I believe that it's been enabled a few month ago but I would like to know exactly when it's enabled.

Is there any log that I can check for the date?

It could be recorded in the audit log as an event of type "Set Repository Options", though I haven't personally verified that.  It would require that you have auditing and are recording that event type for the administrator account that was used to turn it on.  It wouldn't be recorded anywhere else, I don't think.

Would you kindly give show me the list of steps to access the audit log and how to search the event by type?

We have a lot of audit logs, but not sure how to search for it. If this is the right place to search for, please advise me how to efficiently search the logs.

The events that get logged are dependent on which edition of Audit Trail you have installed.

For instructions on how to access the audit logs, you can start with the documentation. Unfortunately, it's probably too big of a topic to cover here.
