Hello All,

I need to know is Federated Search support self-signed SSL certificate or Need SSL from CA? 

IF anyone has done setup kindly share more details.

Hi Shiraj,

 

I couldn't get this working with a self signed cert, had to go out and buy one to make this work.

 

Interested to see the response.

A self-signed certificate will work. Keep in mind that self-signed certificates need to be deployed to any machines you'll be using to access the site if you want certificate validation to work.

Certificate validation to work means same Self-signed certificate installs on Federated search machine and also End User machine right?
