Forms Report Filters - Impossible to filter by end date?

asked on May 17, 2019

It seems there is a restriction in the filters for all forms reports where you can not filter by end date. You can see that end date is a system variable, but it disappears in the list when trying to choose it for a filter.

Is it only possible to filter by start date.

The use case is that they want to build a monthly report, that includes processes which were approved/completed in that month, not ones that were just started.

I can't put a date field on the approval form, just because the approval step has been passed doesn't mean it was not in order to be sent back for revisions. This is why end date is so important to know when it was approved and everyone is done with their tasks.

Same need here. (v10.4) I can download a spreadsheet that includes the End Date column on it, but this spreadsheet is getting pretty huge as I need to download all existing forms of one type rather than just a date range selection by End Date.

Did you ever find anything on this?  I have the same need where the requested report is anything completed in the last month but can't see how to do that other than writing it to a hidden variable directly in the form.

No, something removes that field from the list, so you can't filter by any field you want. It has to be one of the fields they show in the list.

I also need the ability to filter on End Date in several of my reports.

We need to be able to report by the end date on scheduled emailed reports. Otherwise, it's a massive report, and we only want to send the list completed on the previous day so this is a gap.

Hopefully, Laserfiche has this on their radar as an area of improvement on the reporting side.
