File uploads - inconsistency when hidden

Hello,

I have Forms 10.3.1.635.

I experience inconsistent behavior in this situation:

Have a radio button for “Upload Yes or No”.

When click Yes, upload button appears.

Upload a file.

Then change your mind, but instead of deleting the upload file, you just click No and it hides the upload button w/ file.

SOMETIMES…The uploaded file is saved to the repository.

SOMETIMES…it is not saved.

I see there is an Update 2 for Forms. It doesn't specifically list this issue (not a table or collection), but is this a known issue that could be resolved by this update?

Just for confirmation, is your Field Rule set to "Ignore data" when the field is hidden?

Hi Jason, yes, the field is marked "Ignore." What's weird is it does different things each test when field is hidden (Instance 143 - saves to repository; Instance 144 - doesn't save to repository). We opened a ticket with LF. I'll post outcome here.
